Pool ladder questions and FAQs

How to stop your pool
ladder from floating

If your pool ladder is floating, it is probably because it
is made of hollow PVC and the trapped air is causing it to float. To stop your
pool ladder from floating, simply take the ladder apart and fill it with sand
to weight it down while underwater. If your ladder canít be taken apart, use
bags of sand on the base of the ladder to weight it down.

How do I get a stain
off of a plastic ladder?

Discoloration of plastic in your pool is usually due to chemical
unbalance or algae. To remove stains, test the water and add chemicals to
restore the pool water to the proper pH level and chemical balance. Scrub the
plastic with a bristled brush to loosen the cause of the stain, and the
discoloration should begin to disappear.

How much does a pool
ladder cost?

Pool ladders come in many different materials and designs, so
price can range greatly depending on the pool ladder that fits your needs. A
pool ladder can range anywhere from $150 for a basic model to $500 and beyond
for an advanced design.

What pool ladder
should you buy if you're a bigger person/overweight?

The manufacturer of each pool ladder will specify how much
weight the ladder model can safely hold, so be sure to choose a ladder that can
accommodate everyone who will be using your pool.
